Steps involved in Paint Correction
1. Through Wash & Decontamination
Before starting the paint correction process we must ensure we are working on a clean vehicle to prevent any further damage on the paint. This also makes it easier to inspect the paints condition
2. Inspecting & Masking any trim
Next, we inspect the paint to see what we’re working with and determine if the vehicle needs a 1,2, or 3 step correction
3. Cutting Step
This step is where the paint correction begins to remove heavy defects using a cutting compound & pad.
4. Polishing Step
Once the heavy defects have been removed we go back with a polish to refine and remove any haze or marring left by heavy compound
Lastly, when the paint correction process is done it is always recommend to top it off with some type of protection whether its a wax, ceramic sealant or better yet a ceramic coating.
